Abstract

¿¬±¸¸ñÀû: ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³âÀÇ »ý¾Ö ÃʱâÀÇ Â÷º° °æÇèÀº Àü »ý¾Ö¿¡ °ÉÃÄ ¿ì¿ï°¨¿¡ ¿µÇâÀ» ¹ÌÄ¡°í °Ç°­¿¡ ºÎÁ¤ÀûÀÎ È¿°ú¸¦ ³ªÅ¸³»´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î ¾Ë·ÁÁ® ÀÖ´Ù º» ¿¬±¸ÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀº ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³â°ú ¾î¸Ó´ÏÀÇ Â÷º° °æÇè°ú ¿ì¿ï°¨ÀÌ ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³âÀÇ ¿ì¿ï°¨¿¡ ¹ÌÄ¡´Â ¿µÇâ°ú ¼ºº°¿¡ µû¸¥ Â÷À̸¦ È®ÀÎÇϱâ À§ÇÔÀÌ´Ù.

¿¬±¸¹æ¹ý: º» ¿¬±¸´Â 2018³â Àü±¹´Ù¹®È­°¡Á·½ÇÅÂÁ¶»çÀÇ ¿ø½ÃÀڷḦ ÀÌ¿ëÇÑ ÀÌÂ÷ÀÚ·áºÐ¼®¿¬±¸ÀÌ´Ù ¿¬±¸´ë»óÀÚ´Â ÃÑ 2,446¸íÀ¸·Î 11-18¼¼ÀΠû¼Ò³â°ú ¾î¸Ó´ÏÀÇ ¿ì¿ï°¨, Â÷º° °æÇè, û¼Ò³âÀÇ Çб³ Æø·Â, Çо÷¼ºÀû º¯¼ö µîÀ» Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ¿´´Ù ºóµµ ºÐ¼®, »ó°ü ºÐ¼®, ¼ø¼­Çü ·ÎÁö½ºÆ½ ȸ±ÍºÐ¼®À» ½ÃÇàÇÏ¿´°í SPSS/WIN 250°ú STATA IC 16 software ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» »ç¿ëÇÏ¿´´Ù.

°á°ú: Àüü ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³âÀÇ 184%(³² 151%, ¿© 205%)°¡ Áö³­ 1³â°£ 2ÁÖ ¿¬¼ÓÀ¸·Î ½½ÇÁ°Å³ª ÁÂÀý°¨À» ´À³¢°í, ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³âÀÇ 83%¿Í ±×µéÀÇ ¾î¸Ó´Ï 296%´Â Â÷º°À» °æÇèÇÑ °ÍÀ¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù ³²ÀÚ Ã»¼Ò³âÀÇ ¿ì¿ï°¨ ¿µÇâ¿äÀÎ Áß Çб³ Æø·Â(OR=517, 95% CI: 285-938), Çо÷¼ºÀû(¸Å¿ì ³ª»Ú´Ù°í ÀÀ´äÇÑ ±ºÀÇ OR=579, 95% CI: 154-2163), ¾î¸Ó´ÏÀÇ ¿ì¿ï°¨(ÀÚÁÖ ´À²¼´Ù°í ÀÀ´äÇÑ ±ºÀÇ OR=231, 95% CI: 114-464)ÀÌ ¿©ÀÚ Ã»¼Ò³â¿¡ ºñÇØ ´õ ³ôÀº °ÍÀ¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù ¿©ÀÚ Ã»¼Ò³âÀÇ ¿ì¿ï°¨ ¿µÇâ¿äÀÎ Áß º»ÀÎÀÇ Â÷º° °æÇè(OR=272, 95% CI: 169-439)ÀÌ ³²ÀÚ Ã»¼Ò³â¿¡ ºñÇØ ´õ ³ôÀº °ÍÀ¸·Î ³ªÅ¸³µ´Ù.

°á·Ð: º» ¿¬±¸¸¦ ÅëÇÏ¿© ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³â°ú ¾î¸Ó´Ï°¡ Çѱ¹ »çȸ¿¡¼­ °æÇèÇÏ´Â Â÷º° °æÇèÀº ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³âÀÇ ¿ì¿ï°¨À» Áõ°¡½ÃÅ°°í ¼ºº°¿¡ µû¶ó ¹ÌÄ¡´Â ¿µÇâÀÌ ´Ù¸§À» È®ÀÎÇÏ¿´´Ù µû¶ó¼­, ´Ù¹®È­ û¼Ò³âÀÇ ¿ì¿ï°¨À» ¿¹¹æÇϱâ À§ÇÑ ÁßÀç´Â Á¨´õƯÀÌÀûÀ̸鼭 ¾î¸Ó´Ï¸¦ Æ÷ÇÔÇÑ Àü·«ÀÌ ¿ä±¸µÈ´Ù.

Purpose: Discrimination experienced in the early stages of life among ethnic minority adolescents is known toaffect depression and also adversely affect health throughout adulthood and old age The purpose of this studywas to identify whether discrimination experienced by ethnic minority adolescents and their mothers anddepression among mothers affect depression in ethnic minority adolescents according to gender.

Methods: Thiswas a cross-sectional study using the data of 2018 National Multicultural Family Survey in Korea The study samplecomprised 2,446 ethnic minority adolescents aged 11~18 and their mothers The data were analyzed usingdescriptive statistics, pearson correlation analysis, and ordinal logistic regression with SPSS/WIN 250 andSTATA IC 16.

Results: 184% of the adolescents (boys: 151%, girls: 205 %) felt sad or frustrated sometimesor more often for at least two weeks during the past year Also, 83% of the adolescents and 296% of their mothersexperienced discrimination during the past year Boys were influenced more than girls by bullying at school(OR=517, 95% CI: 285~938), academic performance (very bad¡¯s OR=579, 95% CI: 154~2163) and mother¡¯sdepression (often¡¯s OR=231, 95% CI: 114~464) Girls were influenced more than boys by experience ofdiscrimination (OR=272, 95% CI: 169~439).

Conclusion: The findings showed that discrimination experiencedby ethnic minority adolescents and their mothers in Korean society increases depression in ethnic minorityadolescents and has different effects by gender Therefore, a gender-specific and mother-inclusive interventionis recommended to prevent depression in ethnic minority adolescents.
